Obituary of Lora Kathryn Arnold

LORA K. ARNOLD
Lora Kathryn Arnold, daughter of John and Zoe (Goodman) Gallentine, was born August 22, 1921, in Clayton, Kansas, and passed away at the Norton County Hospital on November 23, 2011, at the age of 90.
Lora grew up in the Clayton community and graduated from the Clayton High School. On October 10, 1940, she married Lee Arnold in Clayton. They made their home on the farm in the Garfield Township of Decatur County, Kansas, where they raised their family. On March 23, 2008, Lora's husband, Lee, passed away. She continued to live on the farm until her death.
Lora was member of the Clayton EUB Church but also attended and was very active in the Norcatur United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one son and his wife, John and Brenda Arnold, Clayton; one daughter and her husband, Susan and Frank Bolek, Valparaiso, Indiana; one brother, Norman Gallentine, Oberlin, Kansas; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and eight step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Lora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two granddaughters, and one sister.
