Obituary of Kelly Michael O'Toole
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
KELLY M. O'TOOLE
Kelly Michael O'Toole, son of Leo Melvin and Helen (Hockett) O'Toole, was born June 25, 1957, in Hill City, Kansas. He passed away at the Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska, on September 25, 2011, at the age of 54, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Kelly grew up in the Densmore/Norton communities and attended the local schools, graduating from the Norton Community High School. He also attended classes at Colby Community College. On March 1, 1980, Kelly and Cheryl Dalton were united in marriage in Norton. They made their home in Norton where he was a self-employed truck driver. They moved to Lexington, Nebraska, in 2005, where they currently made their home.
Kelly was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Norton and the Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club. He had been active in the Boy Scouts with his sons and loved fishing and hunting especially with his dogs.
Survivors include: his wife, Cheryl O'Toole, Lexington; two sons, Shawn, and wife, April O'Toole, Carrollton, Georgia; and Ryan O'Toole, Lexington; his mother, Helen O'Toole Robinson, Norton; one brother, Tim, and wife, Audrey O'Toole, Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Vicki, and husband, Dan Maguire, Pierz, Minnesota; Suzi Koch, Norton; and Kerri "TJ", and husband, Russ Blackburn, Grand Island, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Rhiannon Romey and Liam O'Toole; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, and one sister, Kathy O'Toole.
A memorial has been established to the Kelly O'Toole Memorial Fund.
